Can you imagine travelling through the wild, vast and golden Gobi desert of Mongolia, which is a land of dinosaurs and home to the two humped Mongolian camels, on a Utility terrain vehicles for a week? This tour is designed only for the adventure seekers and challenges the travelers to experience the wilderness of the Gobi.
The tour starts with arrival in Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia. Transfer to the hotel and begin the sightseeing city tour with Gandan Monastery. Go to Sukhbaatar square in the center of the city and visit the National History Museum. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Take a one and half hour-long flight to the South Gobi and arrive in Dalanzadgad, center of the province. Transfer by bus to the camp and collect the UTVs and do some briefing. You will drive the UTV’s to the Yol Valley (Vulture’s Gorge), and start trekking in the Vulture’s Gorge. (ca. 90km) Stay overnight in ger camp near Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park.
Drive the UTVs to the biggest sand dune Khongor.Go trekking or driving to the sand dune, visit a camel breeding family and try getting on and riding two humped Mongolian camel. (ca. 200km) Overnight in gers by Khongor sand dune.
Continue driving the UTVs to the Flaming Cliffs (dinosaur excavation site), visit the Flaming cliffs and the Saxaul forest. (ca. 160km) Overnight in ger camps by Flaming cliff.
Drive the UTVs further to camp near Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. (ca.70km), and spend the afternoon relaxing. Stay another night in a ger camp.
Transfer to Dalanzadgad, get on a flight back to Ulaanbaatar and drive by bus to the Terelj National Park. (ca. 80km)
Spend the day hiking, walking or biking in the rock mountain area and relax in the evening. Stay overnight in ger camps.
Drive back by bus to Ulaanbaatar, (ca. 70km) and visit the Winter Palace Museum of Bogd Khan. Have some free time in the afternoon, then have dinner at the Mongolian Barbeque Restaurant. Stay the last night in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport for departure
Accommodation in Mongolian gers, full board, all transfers by bus, domestic flights, between day 2 to 6th - rent UTVs and an escort jeep with technician, entrance fees to the visits and to the National Parks and guide services.
