Tsaatan Ethnic Group
Mongolian Reindeer People or Tsaatan, a diminishing nomadic tribe who live in the depths of the Taiga in northern Mongolia. The Tsaatan ethnic minority is one of the last remaining groups of nomadic reindeer herders in Mongolia and has been maintaining their traditions for thousands of years. Their language is called Uighur and they worship Shamanism. The main way of livelihood is to herd reindeer and benefit from it. They live in Urts, which is a nomadic dwelling that looks similar to Native American tepees.
