Khongor sand dune

Khogor sand dune is the biggest sand dune covering Umnugovi’s Sevrei, Nomgon, Zuulun mountain area total of 925 square kilometers, which continued for 185km from west to east. Khongor sand dune is also one of the biggest oases of the Gobi desert. From the bottom to the top, the height varies from 10 meters all the way up to 195 meters. You could hear Khongor Rivers’ musical sand, where the electrified positive and negative charges of the sand result in making musical sounds when it is windy.
